The Branded Company Helps 10-Year-Old Sophie Wilford Raise Funds for Kibworth Food Bank

The Branded Company is delighted to share a touching story of community spirit and generosity. Sophie Wilford, a remarkable 10-year-old from Kibworth, has once again shown her dedication to helping those in need by organising a fidget toy sale at her primary school to support The Well, a local food bank.

Sophie’s efforts over the past two years have already raised over £1,000 for The Well. This year, she set her sights on raising another £300. Sophies mom Eliza reached out to us with the following heartfelt request:

"My daughter Sophie Wilford, who is 10 years old, has planned a fidget toy sale at her primary school with all the money raised from selling the fidgets to go to her local food bank (The Well in Kibworth, Leicestershire). Over the past two years, she has raised over £1,000 and is aiming to raise another £300 through her sale. Sophie has collected over 100 fidgets so far and was hoping to reach out to yourselves for any donations of fidgets or stress balls and would be very grateful if you were in a position to contribute to her sale."

Our account manager, Muzi, was moved by Sophie’s dedication and immediately took action, arranging for a generous donation of stress animals to support her cause:

Thanks to Sophie’s hard work and the support from The Branded Company, her fidget toy sale was a tremendous success, raising an impressive £386.61. Sophie personally delivered the funds to The Well, where they were warmly welcomed. The food bank has seen a rise in demand and a decline in donations recently, making Sophie’s contribution especially significant.

We are immensely proud to have assisted Sophie in her inspiring effort. Her determination and kindness are truly inspiring and highlight the importance of community support during challenging times.
