Canvas is a natural, plain woven fabric which is extremely tough and sturdy-most commonly used for making sails, tents and in our case shopper bags.
The fact that it is heavy duty fabric that can withstand everyday use makes it an ideal candidate if you require something more substantial than the 5oz cotton shopper.
Canvass is measured by weight (ounces per square yard), the greater the ounce, the better the quantity.
